Not caught up yet

I have been desperately trying to feel well enough to post. I just don't yet. Don't want to spend an hour transferring pictures and uploading and blah blah blah. I did get caught up on reading them though! :) Just know I'm not dead (even though some days I feel like it) and I will posting soon. Really......

What a morning! And not in a good way.

I wrote this yesterday but didn't have time to finish it.

This morning was hard. Well, mornings are almost always hard for me. I don't love them, never have, probably never will. But not all mornings are hard for my kids. And when it's hard for them it makes it hard for me. I hate that, hate that a little person can dictate how my morning goes. People can say--you make your own happiness--and they are right but I don't think anybody can make any kinda happiness when your kid is flopping around on the floor screaming and spitting. (although this hasn't happened in awhile, you get my point)
So I've come to these conclusions and am writing them down so I can reflect upon them when I need to. ie...everyday.
1. Jayda has SPD and OCD. While this makes things hard it's not unmanageable and it's getting easier as we learn how to let Jayda be herself and understand that she's not just being hard or stubborn.
2. Jayda may or may not change her underwear five times in 20 minutes. Also pants, socks and shoes fall into this category. And remember it's when you're going out the door that you find her in the bedroom naked and clothes all over the floor.
3. I can deal with the scoffs of people who think I cater to her eating. I do. Otherwise she wouldn't eat. We've proved that. The ''she'll eat it when she's hungry enough'' doesn't work with her.
4. I need to get it through my head that when I'm flaring and tired it compounds Jayda's issues and then we are both miserable.
5. Jayda can feel stress and express' it. Pay attention and be sensitive to it.
6. And lastly Jayda is soooooo worth it. As frustrating as it can be, all her quirks and "have to's" make her a very unique, funny and awesome little person. I love her.

HER TOOTH IS GONE and Mmmm.....dandelions

Jayda lost her first tooth.
On Easter.
She's pretty proud.
And I took O out to take some pictures for her Mom for Easter.
And this is what I got.

Well, thats not all I got but these are the yummy ones.

No rest for the weary

All photos courtesy of my phone
since I can't seem to remember
my camara at all anymore.

Since my hands don't work well in the cold
I have waited and waited to weed.
I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it!
Hello pokies!

 But I got it done!!
2 flower beds down, one to go.
Who wudda guessed there would be flowers in there.
And yes now everyone can see we need to paint.
Ha.

We also went to the spring fair.
Not the awesomest thing ever
but we are suckers for fun with the kids.

Since we are on a limited budget
and it was 6 bucks a piece
for a 1 minute ride
we put a limit of 2 on each kid.
Jayda decided to take her business elsewhere-
the haunted house and throwing darts.
Which, by the way, worked out because
the darts were $5 and
haunted house was only $3.50!
She's our bargain shopper.

I had more to post but it's going to have to wait.
I once again hear the dishes and laundry calling my name.
I'm calling it names back but it doesn't seem to care!
