Lego's and painting fingernails.
Couldn't ask for more on a Saturday.

Oh for it to be Christmas again.

I love, love, love Christmas.
Posting about it, not so much.
But here goes.

Christmas programs

Jayda is the angel smack in the middle.
She did pretty well for how shy she is.

Here she is singing songs in one of the two
 nursing homes they went to.

Jase at her's.
Can you spot her spotting me?

Jase ended up crying and coming to me during the program.
Why you ask?
Because Jase had her first speaking part in a Christmas program and of course her music teacher goofed. We practiced that part over and over until she was confident she could get up in front of everybody and not freeze. Well, it came time for her part and she went up and her music teacher announced another name and told her it wasn't her time. Umm...It was. So Jase waited patiently until her teacher told her to go ahead. Jase started saying her part and her music teacher interrupted her and started calling the other girls name again. Still Jaselynne is right, her turn. Then the teacher decided it really was her turn and let her finish. Jase was totally embarrassed and got upset because she was afraid everyone would think it was her that messed up. I was not a happy Mom. She has such a shy sweet heart and it's going to take a bit to convince her to get up in front of everybody again.

Christmas at home
Had an awesome morning.
Did I mention I love Christmas.

Christmas at Moms
Yep, good times.
(my dads face in this one totally cracks me up)

Notice the lack of pics?
My camera battery went dead and I have no pictures from the rest of the fun filled day.
I know some of you are saying thank heavens, others are asking "Hey, what about the Redfords?"
Don't worry we went and had a great time.
I have one picture on my phone to prove it.
Charlie
And no that's not snot on his face and hands, it's banana cream pie.
The little smartie found mine that I was hiding
while dominating the card games. Ha!

I think I enjoy Christmas so much because the spirit is so strong and being around awesome family helps too. :)

Walk down memory lane

So since a friend was so nice as to let me know how to plug these in,
I thought I would do a little remanising.
If you want to know a little bit about me go here.....
and when I had 5 kids everyday.
Makes me tired just thinking about it....

If you want a good laugh go here....
Actually, I think this may be my favorite video of any of the kids.
 I love it!
And forgive all the laundry in the hall, we all had the flu at the time.
Or here...

Or need a smile...

I had actually planned on posting some others I found the other night
but ran out of time to look for them.
But these are just as good. :)

Oh the days.....

I have spent the last 2 hours reading my own blog.
Laughing at my own posts.
I can be pretty witty when I try. Ha!
I was trying to reference them so you could read some funny past ones from back in 09 and can't figure it out. Anybody know?
Anyway, I know I've said before that I am going to get my blog book going but I really am!
My new goal!...
right after sending out my Christmas cards. :)

Another week...

Another week has gone by. It's been a bit crazy around here. Doctor appointments all over the place. Sean isn't going to love this (because he is like Dr Secret) but I don't think he understands the whole blogging thing like these guys do  http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.salon.com%2Flife%2Ffeature%2F2011%2F01%2F15%2Ffeminist_obsessed_with_mormon_blogs&h=da625  Anyway, I got another diagnosis today. I won't go into the details for Sean's sake. Ha! But best case scenario hormone therapy will take care of things, worst case scenario I need surgery. Apparently 2011 hasn't heard this is the year of the Redfords. Not the year of forking out more money for surgery. So to the doctor, to get the depo shot, I go. Awesome side effect from the depo shot---No Period. Wahoo! See there is totally a good side to this story! Sorry TMI for some of you but to bad you already read it! :) Haha I actually deleted a sentence too. You're welcome. As for my feelings on the whole thing --Mehh....come what may, it's not like I don't have anything else wrong with me. :)
Besides that Sean is still working out every other night, Jase is super into shadow boxes right now so I have big boxes with the cutest little homemade things in them that I don't know what to do with because they are to awesome to throw away, Jayda is counting down the days until she goes to McDonalds for a field trip and they get to tour and make their own ice cream cones and Kelsey told us last night she doesn't want to leave our home. How's that for a run down with a run on sentence.

Dang-it! and recap.

I finally decided I was going to do my Christmas posts. I went and got my camera bag, opened it and realized I left my camera on when I put it away--oh like 2 weeks ago! I promptly decide "I'll just charge it and do it when it's ready." NO CHARGER! I don't know where I left it. I vaguely remember needed to charge it during the Christmas shananagans but don't remember where. Ugh!!! So no pics from the Nikon till I find it.

So I guess I will write a (New) Years wrap up-
Sean- Still my caring, funny, hardworking man. I love to watch him with Jase and Jayda. He really was meant to be a dad to girls. They still have him wrapped around his pinky and I'm guessing they always will. He's still working at the Pit Stop aka Havoline Express Lube now. It has gotten a makeover. It's still funny to hear him answer the phone with the new name. Weird. Sean is also bound and determined to get his golf game in super shape. He's bought a couple new clubs (not cheap ones either *choke*) and is set on improving and entering tournaments this year. He has done some tournaments in the past and has always done well but never any away or with people he didn't know. He is still plugging away on dreams and ideas of how to make things easier on us. It was funny he actually saw something in stores recently that he had an idea on a few years back. (I told him it was a good one!) His mind is constantly working and it is great to see what pops out. Maybe someday it will be something to patent. He has also started working out with Justin since the new year and has already lost 12 pounds. I'm pretty proud of him. I really did marry a great man.

Me-I realized when I went to write mine other than health stuff I feel like I haven't done that much this year.(when I think back all I can think of is girls camp. Ha!) So maybe that's what my resolution will be since I've had a hard time coming up with one. Do Stuff! Anyway, I am pretty much recouped from my surgery. I still get headaches and it still doesn't quite feel right but I can tell that things are better. My arthritis is still a pain, literally. Man I got jokes! The flare I'm having now is my best flare yet. I had to go off my meds 3 weeks before my surgery and haven't gone back on them since, although some days I think maybe I should. The thing that I hate the most is how tired the spondylitis makes me. I have a hard time getting the drive to do stuff. (My blog for instance!! My photography. My crafts. My sewing.) By the time I get all the stuff done that I NEED to get done I don't have much umph to do the stuff I want to. But I really am lucky that I'm able to handle this. Physically :P but Mentally I'm ready for whatever.

Jaselynne-Jase is doing great. She is doing awesome in school! We are both really proud of her. We have promised a DS at the end of the year if she keeps up the hard work. Her and Jayda are still doing so well together. They have their off days (especially with so many snow days and vacation we've had lately!) but all in all they get along as good as anyone could ask. She is very creative and is constantly building, drawing, crafting, or painting something. She has had a few things happen at school that I've been afraid would squash her self esteem a bit but she has handled them like a trooper. She is still taking 2 different medications a day but has learned to take pills so it's not so much drama anymore. No more yuckies. She is looking forward to soccer in the spring and wants to save her pennies for a trip to France. haha.

Jayda-is still Jayda. Our super funny, cute girl. She has 2 loose teeth but is not keen on wiggling them. She is doing well in the new preschool she started this year. I think it's a combination of the teacher, the environment, the counseling and the techniques we've learned that have helped. I am rather enjoying this new little attitude and I'm hoping it will translate well to kindergarten next year. She hasn't wanted to participate in any sports or activities this last year but that ok because it's given us an opportunity to focus on other things. She has spoken in church and played parts in the nativity at school. She has grown up a lot this last year.

Kelsey-is doing pretty darn good. We are proud of how well she is doing in school and how hard she is trying. She is still quiet around other people but has definitely come out of her shell around us. She to is growing up right in front of our eyes.

All in all we had a transition year. We didn't do a lot of big stuff but have learned alot and have had alot of quality fun family time. We have realized some things this past year and look forward to putting them in play this next one. It's going to be a big year for us so be prepared. A friend on facebook said she was going to call it--2011: The year of The Redfords. I was ok with that.

Bounce House Address

The bounce house place is actually called Kangaroo's Bounce House and party rentals. Address is 210 South Ash (used to be laser tag and then a fitness club) number is 765-8110. You can find them on facebook if you don't want to look back on here. Call first because they do private parties there (like bdays) so they aren't always open for public bouncing. It's like 5 bucks a kid for however long. Happy bouncing.

Bounce house

They have a bounce house place here in town that has 3 bouncy houses, a bouncy joust and a big bouncy slide. We took the girls and they loved it.

This is Jase hiding from a boy that was following her EVERYWHERE.

The boy coming out of the blue bounce house is the 'the boy'. It was so funny she was going from one to another and he was following her the whole time we were there.

Happy Bouncers.
