I'm a soccer Mom
Jase and Jayda had their first soccer game! They did well but it was colder than crap!! We have had the wierdest weather this year! So up and down. Anyway, Sean told his sister Kim that I really embraced the typical soccer mom mentality. Kim told on him. I laughed but had to admit it was a little true. I don't expect Jase to be Pele but I do want her to play at the potential I've seen her play at. She was intimidated because it was a game and I was simply reassuring her she could do it by yelling! :) Now before you judge--I never cussed, I wasn't negative and I didn't give any advice over the coach. The only negative to it was I didn't get any pictures of Jase with the ball, I was to busy 'coaching'. So next game Sean is in charge of the camera. Jayda also did well but my expectations for her are in a different realm. The realm of having fun and a goal of trying to kick the ball once during the season. I am gonna try and tone it down next game but no promises. But at least there will be pictures!

Trip to Wenatchee
We made a trip to Wenatchee on Saturday. First we went to Conleys soccer game which started at 9. I didn't want to walk all the way back to the car to get my camera so that part of the day was not documented. But it was fun and Conley did good. Then we waited while Conley got his soccer pictures and then went back to the families house to Celebrate Finleys Birthday!
Of course we had cake.
And the ceremonial sucking of the candles.
And grandparents fussing over grandkids.
Grandma and Grandpa Lobe. Doesn't Grandma look so cute.
And of course there was opening of presents and cards. It was so funny--Finley stuck his tongue out the whole time. I wish I had gotten a better picture but I wasn't with it.
Then there was the batless pinata complete with pull strings and plenty of candy.
Jayda showing off her loot.
And of course it wouldn't have been a Wenatchee trip without some playing and playing they did. Conley thought he was pretty funny trying to hit me with a silly string ball and he eventually did.
Mini-trampolinen a plenty.
I wish we had a deck so the girls had a hard surface to do stuff like this on.
And this.
And then almost kill themselves like this. Oh I almost threw my camera to catch them. Everyone involved was lucky they didn't go overboard.
The kids with their great-grandparents. This (plus me) were the only ones able to make it. Darn that work and being sick but we had a good time none the less.
Happy Birthday Finley. Steal any pics you want Kerensa. :)

Dear Tooth Fairy
Jaselynne wanted to leave a note for the tooth fairy. It read....
Dear Tooth Fairy,
I would want a whistle please. Bye. I will see you with my next tooth.
Jaselynne
The Tooth Fairy wrote back....
Dear Jaselynne,
Thank you for the note. That was very nice of you.
I see your other tooth is loose, I'll see you soon.
The Tooth Fairy
She wanted a whistle and sure enough the Tooth Fairy came through with a whistle and 3 quarters. I was kinda probing her for what she was expecting and asked how much she thought the Tooth Fairy would bring her and she said "Maybe like a whole quarter." Man, this kid is easy. Then she added "Oh, and a whistle, I need a whistle because I can't whistle with my lips anymore." That's more like it. Squeeze the Tooth Fairy for all she's worth!

3 whole quarters
JASE LOST HER FIRST TOOTH! SHE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR FOREVER!
After much talk of doorknobs, toasters and swing sets she finally agreed to tieing it to Coopers leash. We tied it on and I was standing on it so Cooper couldn't go anywhere, Jayda was ready and waiting to call him from across the yard and we were waiting for Sean to pull into the driveway. Jase had been holding the leash and let it go so we would be ready and guess what...the weight of the leash pulled it right out. It was so funny!! She didn't even realize it had happened. She went to grab the string to pull the leash up and noticed the string wasn't hooked to her leash anymore. I was laughing!!!! If you look close you can see the tooth center right.
She was pretty excited it didn't really hurt.
What a cute girl with a cute toothless grin!!!
I want to post on the tooth fairy stuff to because it's cute but Sean needs the comp so it will have to wait till another day.
She wouldn't pull it by herself and I certainly wasn't going to even though I pulled my own out far before they were ready. I would have told her just to wait but it was leaning out and she kept biting it and jamming it and crying about it all the time so I had to take Mommy action! I convinced her to tie a string to it so something else could pull it out not her.

Her name is Erin.
She is our little neighbor, 2 doors down. She's in between Jase and Jayda age wise and loves playing with them. Which means she is here day in and day out. Which means she eats and plays here. You can tell she isn't in the greatest position. Her house is in shambles and her clothes are ripped or to small, but she does seem to be clean most of the time. We think it's pretty funny how she has made herself at home. The only time she knocks is when it's locked. If not she just walks in and tells us when she has to check in and goes about finding something to do. It's hilarious how Jayda calls her "hey" because she can't remember her name and Erin calls Jayda "Jaca" and Jase "Jaseleen" because she can't remember theirs either. Sometimes they get them right but none of them care. Funny.
As you can see Sean got the swing set up this weekend too! Yeah!

S-O-C-C-E-R
Soccer started this week and so far they are doing great. Jase is keeping up with the boys and Jayda is keeping up..well...she's keeping up kinda. She is by far the smallest, I think she is the only 4 year old. I heard one of the boys ask the coach "why is that little tiny girl playing with us?" She is not loving it either but I think it is mostly nerves because she loves playing with Jase. She told me today "Mom, Jase loooves soccer! And I don't." I told her she didn't have to love it but I wanted her to try for a couple more practices and a game, just to make sure. I don't think everybody telling her "no hands, no hands!" is helping either.
Jase and her 'soccer pose'. Notice the all blue! She is a tom boy just like I was!
Running drills. They were paired up two at a time to run down the field and kick a goal. Jase is whomping the boy she was paired with.
Jayda and her 'soccer pose'. Notice the all pink! She must take after her dad! ;)
Jayda did pretty good this time. The boys that are in the picture are the next two that went and passed her. The little shadow to the far left is her partner. The only reason Jayda did so well against her is she was walking and crying. Nothing like leaving the crying kid in the dust!!
I left my camera at home! Ughhh...I know! But one of my friends lived near by so I ran over and borrowed hers so thanks Celeste!!

Preschool
My Jayda baby started preschool this last week!! Is she seriously old enough? I kept myself busy while she was at school so I didn't think about it too much! But she did wonderful!!
First day this year at my friend Celeste's preschool--Joyful noise.
She went last year and did really good and Celeste asked if she wanted to go this year and of course Jayda said "Sure!" It is on Monday and Wednesday but I am only going to take her on Wednesdays.

It is the same preschool Jase went to and it is a combo preschool and dance studio. She will be learning tap and ballet. Jayda calls it her 'dance school'. She will be going Tuesdays and Thursdays. So 3 days a week I have no children from 8 to noon. Hopefully that will give me some time to get this house in order! It is still so crazy and unorganized!

Wall-E
These pictures are old but I saw them and wanted to post them. If you haven't seen the movie Wall-E it's about a robot in the future who has a little cockroach as a friend and falls in love with another robot. After we watched it Jase made these All By Herself and I thought she did such a good job.

First day of School
Awww....isn't she so cute! First day of First Grade.

It was so cute, I asked Jase how her day was and she said 'Good. (pause) Actually, it was Great!' I am so proud of her. She is such a good girl and so smart. I can brag, I'm the mom! She got a gold coin (good behavior) and her table group got 3 checks (listening, good behavior, etc.). She is funny too cuz she had to tell me all about the kids who got in trouble and who had to do what. "And I didn't do any of that mom" I'm glad she is in the middle--shy enough to not be a goody two shoes and definitely not a trouble maker. And don't worry she can drink out of a regular cup!
I did better than I thought I would. I kept busy by going to Mom and Dads and doing laundry (we still don't have washer/dryer hook ups) and running errands. Jayda did pretty good too---only because she slept for like 3 hours---she is not a big fan of waking up early either! And by early I mean I drug her outta bed at 8:45 and threw her in the car. I am guessing she will miss Jase terribly tomorrow when she is bored outta her mind.
New Car
We got a new car. We have been having car trouble as I've already posted for the last few months. Last week 'the gator' decided it wanted a coolant leak. Not a big deal except to fix both cars it would be at least 2,000 dollars. And since we have no money due to our money pit house what's the next best thing--trade them in. This is what Sean picked out and I have to say it's not to shabby. I love this picture, Jayda is trying to copy Jase and shade her eyes and she just put her hand on her head. Funny!
It looks silver but it is blue and the whole entire inside is black. Good for this messy car family!!
Sean told me it was loaded and he wasn't lying. I haven't figured out half the buttons yet!

Livin on Ivy streeeet
We are in our house and I can't tell you how excited I am! I think I am totally in love with this house. The only down side so far is we ran out of money and haven't been able to put the fence in. Sucks for the dogs (me) but the kids have done really well staying to the back of the house. We have a ton to do still and me and the girls are trying to adjust to getting up early as practice for Wednesday. What's Wednesday? Jase starts first grade...WHAT...I have a first grader!?! I don't think I'm going to cry but don't place any wagers. She's gonna be gone all day and for a mom who isn't away from her child all to often it'll take some getting used to. But I'll get there. Who's knows maybe I'll love it.
