Catch up time
There's some stuff that I am dying to put on here but it's still not "time" yet so I have to wait but typing this out made me feel a titch better!
EASTER CAN'T COME EARLY ENOUGH FOR THIS GIRL
Jayda got some egg decorating kits while on a date with Grandma and has been in heaven ever since.
She has been carrying them around, playing with them and babying them like they are her own eggs and we are now missing one. So my mission for the day is to find it. Good news though, we finally found the baby Jesus after months and months. I have a feeling the we will smell it before then.
Jayda has also been going by the name Rose (or Rosie) because she was convinced that should be the name of any future sister she might have. When we said "hmmm....we'll see Jayda" she decided she would just take it for herself. I think she is starting to understand mine and Sean's grins to each other. :)
Wii LITTLE TOOTH
Jase lost her fifth tooth. She had 4 loose ones and while playing a sword game on the Wii she whacked herself in the face with the remote and knocked one out. Soooo funny. It wasn't ready to come out so soon but at least it was a little loose.
To go along with that she was showing Dane ( my nephew who is turning 4 in a few days and knocked his 2 front teeth out while sledding this winter) and Dane said "*gasp* Jase, what happened? Did you go sledding?" Funny kid.
SCHOOL UPDATE
We think Sean has decided on a school. We are just waiting to see if he got in. It looks like he is going to commute 2 days a week with some classes he can take here at Big Bend. It should take a little less than 2 1/2 years to finish if everything moves along good. I am confident and oh so proud of that man.
ME
I am right in the middle of my second sinus infection since my surgery in Nov. And it's one of the worst I've ever had. I am on my 6th day of meds and am still having pressure and headaches. I was told to make an appt with my ENT guy when I finish my antibiotics to see what's up. I am guessing my cyst is back. What can I say---fluid filled sacks love me!

Missing my computer
Of course on the one day I finally convince Sean not to take the laptop to work to do schoooool stuff the internet isn't working right. So to avoid unsaved, frustrating picture posts and possible naughty things being said in my mind I'm not going to post my post. Hopefully I can convince Sean to leave it home tomorrow too!

school days, school daze
Since Sean finally facebook announced it I'm allowed to blog announce it. Sean is going back to school. We both felt like things weren't feeling right and so he's taking the plunge. I am proud of him for making this decision. I know it wasn't easy for him to decide to "start over" when he's going to be forty. Even typing it out makes me a bit nervous but I am excited for where this will take us! The kids not so much. :)

Random Friday
1. Totally rocking out while doing housework, like always. The last few months I've been obsessed with Kim Bates' -whistle while you work- soundtrack on her blog. Better than Sean's ITunes acct. ha. Love it. Just thought I'd let her know. :) 2. I think we've made the decision to get Jayda's tonsils and adenoids out. Ugh.....not excited about it but she's been struggling with sleep apnea and we think it has to be done.
3. I've been seriously lacking taking pictures. I can't seem to reach a happy medium. Either nothing gets done around the house while I snap away or I get a wild hair and crazy deep clean and ignore my bestie and her sd card. (like this week!) I have been thinking about doing the 365 thing but I've seen to many people get burned out and stop blogging after. Maybe I'll do a 52 thing, I think I can handle once a week. hmmmm......
4. Apparently some lady got stabbed by a guy wanting to steal her car-------in our alley. I wouldn't even go back out to get the rest of the groceries in the car yesterday. Lemme ask you a question, am I the only one who plans out how they would handle it if it happened to them? I have all sorts of scenarios running around in my head. He should be scared.
5. I think I may have finally decided I can't stay up until 1 every night. 6 hours doesn't feel as good as it used to.
And for your picture pleasure-

Ducky Love
We went to feed the ducks yesterday.
And forgot my camera!
Modern times=
handy dandy camera on my phone.
Ahhh...technology I love you
you've saved me multiple times.
This was how close they started.
And this is how close they ended up.
I haven't heard the girls laugh like that in awhile.
They had a great time
and I'm sure we'll do it again soon.

Information Super Tuesday
---It's February!! February of 2011. Crazy. (And whomever decided to spell February with the extra r is a nitwit. I have to sound it out all funny when I write it so I spell it right!) I must be getting older because time is moving faster and faster, and I vaguely remember hearing something about that when I was a kid. Probably in the same conversation with no jumping off the deck onto the trampoline.
---We have begun receiving foster care calls again. Kelsey is getting close to going and we have to decide where we want to go from here. Big decisions we need to make.
---I have got a little bite from the genealogy bug right now. I have dabbled with it occasionally but I have been trying to find some info that seemed unfindable and that makes it interesting (As well as the drama that you can find within a family. The 17 and 1800's were not safe from the drama. At least not in my family. Ha!)
---I get to go in and get the depo shot either the end of this week or the beginning of next week. I am super excited. Who'd be excited to get a birth control shot? This girl! I am really hoping this will help solve some of my problems. I know it'll solve at least one a month. ;) And in turn will make for a lot more merriness around here. I will probably have to post a video of the hubs and girls doing the happy dance.
---Jayda just informed me "You need to get a glass out of the cupboard and I will get the wrapping paper." Guess what Grandma is getting as a surprise just because present? And then she asked "Mom, when we're rich, can we buy someone a phone? Or a refridgerator? What about a fly swatter?" That girl is a giver.
---Saw an awesome recipe on TV by Paula Dean. Way to much butter and brown sugar and healthy white flour but sounded oh so delish. Also the first ingrediant is 1 cup starter. So I'm starting a start. Whoa. Never done it and I hope I can stand the weird smell long enough to make the cinnamon rolls that looked to die for.
---And lastly. I'm in a bit of a quandary and need some help. We are not getting good sleep here right now. Ever since I have started having health issues I either sleep really deep or really restlessly. Not the problem. Well, not the problem I want advice on. I have always been pretty strict on beds. Not nazi crazy on sleep times but just-you go to bed and stay in bed. You want a drink of water, to bad you had some already. You have a nightmare, fine, cuddle, back to bed. You are sick, you're not comin in and coughing on me. I would rather check on you 27 times a night to make sure you're doing ok. Now that I type it out it sounds a bit Hitlerish. Anyway, since I sleep so soundly on the nights I do sleep I don't hear the kids sneak in. And crawl in bed. On Sean's side. And I most definitely don't hear him get up and put them back to bed. Because he's not. Ugh. We are all tired. No one is sleeping good and I can't seem to get it under control. Any ideas? Besides telling the husband he needs to put them back to bed. I thought of that one already.
