Cracks me up

I am way to tired to devote an hour to uploading and writing a post
soooooo

I found this video tonight and it totally makes me laugh!
Olivia figured out how to squint and blink
and was showing off but didn't want to do it for the camera.

She is saying "No. Done." but obviously she wasn't. :)

The cold is here

My plants froze last night!
Our house is 60* inside right now.
Every year when it gets this cold
so quick...
I ask myself
"why don't I live somewhere warm?"
and
.
.
"why do we keep buying houses with no forced air?!"

I wasn't made for cold.

Proud Mama

Just a couple things for memories sake--

Jase got her NWEA (testing they use in our district and the northwest) test back for reading yesterday and did awesome. She is in the 3rd grade and was just a couple points from scoring in the 5th grade level. She got her test back for Math today and tested in her grade level. She was disappointed. Ha! She said she wanted to at least get a 4th grade level. I tried to give her good motherly advice on being happy with what she got, she's right on track and blah blah but what the heck...I had to console my child because she didn't overachieve?! Who's kid is this?

Jayda is really good at games. She whomps at Memory! And lately it's checkers. Jase hates playing her because she always loses. And yesterday my little Jayda beat me....legitimately. I had 3 guys left, she had 5 and she double jumped me...dangit....then I made one move, she made one move and I was trapped. You should have heard me hootin and hollerin "Oh My Gosh, I didn't see that! How did you know to do that? What the heck!" Yep, I got beat by a 6 year old but it makes me smile.

Yes, it has been a long time......and Little Miss O

It's been so long I had a hard time deciding where to start. But I settled on Olivia. She stayed with us for only a few months but we loved her. If given the option her last name would have been Redford. I still have some picture posts that she will be in but wanted to devote a post to just her.

First time swimming. She was a little nervous but Jayda was a big helper!
It didn't take long.

Jayda reading 'Livie Lou' a book.

Yes, her hair was that wild every morning!

Jayda and Olivia really were good friends!
Playing with some old powder.

Happy 2nd Birthday!!

She had the same "poop during nap or bed and play with it" habit Kaylin had!
So it was onsies on the outside for awhile.
She thought I was crazy!

Playing babies with wraps was a fav.

One of my favoritest pictures of the 3 of them!

Our going away party the morning she left.
She got into the habit of closing her eyes when she smiled for the camera
just like Jase did for forever at her age!!

Look at my sad Jase. And me...
I think next foster kid leaving picture I am going to make sure I have make up on!
To my no make up credit I did have pneumonia though!
We think about our 'Livers' quite often
but we are very excited for her and the new start she is getting!!

I have an accountable kid

In the last month I have had the flu, pneumonia and a cold. I have decided that even though I don't feel much like blogging or anything else besides laying on the couch I had better get to it because who knows when I will be "better!"

A little LDS baptism info-

In our church little ones don't get baptized until they are 8. By the time a child is 8 they generally know the difference between right and wrong and are old enough to choose to be baptized- in other words accountable. We believe in being punished for your own sins and that means a baby shouldn't be sent to hell because it's parents didn't baptize it. Sean says I worded it a little harsh but I have a harsh experience where I was told otherwise. I don't believe the otherwise and didn't even before I joined the church.

JASELYNNE'S BAPTISM-

Jase got baptized April 16th. It was a pretty day and we had a nice group of people show up.

Before we went in.

The girls in the bathroom with Jase wearing the baptism outfit.

 With Daddy who baptized her.

Couldn't not get a picture of Jayda. She wanted to wear white just like her sister.
In the year leading up to her baptism Jase ran the spectrum with what she thought about getting baptized. It didn't surprise us with the shy, smart girl she is. She wanted to know all the info and had worries about being in front of a bunch of people. We had some friends who did an fhe about it a couple weeks before that helped ease her mind and we never pushed her about it just offered info and support and she decided on her own. I love this girl and she looked so sweet on this special day.

Sweet moments

I love my sweet children.
And the best part is catching them when they don't
know you're watching.

Notice a little curly haired theme running through these?
Yep, she's a lover.

Last Day of School

Just when I was getting back in to the swing of things and catching up on my house and blogs I got the flu! (But the cutest toe-headed little girl gave it to me so I'm not to mad.:) I am hoping I stay well long enough to get all my energy back this time. I'm wondering if that's why they gave me such a long period of get well time--because I start to feel semi-normal and life gets in the middle of it. I had planned on posting on my hospital stay/sickness but I am still having anxiety about it so I want to wait a while longer. I have never dealt with anxiety really so if anyone has any advice on this sucky subject I'd appreciate it. Now on to the post....

Jase's last few days
My poor Jasey is not looking forward to going to a new school next year and had a hard time with the last month of school. She cried just about everyday.
But there were some fun times in there too.

Like school swim day.
Can you tell it was fa-reeezing!

And getting awards...
(Jase is definately my child with a bit of brown on her nose,
not to much but just enough :)

Field day is always fun...

And Otter Pops after.

And showing Mom and Dad how you can do the milkshake is cool stuff.

But her favorite thing by far is just hanging with friends...

And absolutely loving her teacher.
Mrs. Evans and Jaselynne-2nd grade
Jase loved this year and we are so proud of how well she did.
Now on to a new school, new friends and a new adventure.

Jayda
My little Jayda graduated from preschool.
She loved school this year and we are so, so happy
because it is quite a change from last year.

Walking the graduation mile

Mrs. Bruneel is heaven sent!
What a great school year we had this year!
I hope this trend continues.
(Discover better live up to the hype!)

Don't know why part way through blogger decided
to blur some of my pics. I turned it off and started again to no avail.
Any ideas on how to fix?
